The Utah football team got off to its season in a near perfect way. The Utes won their first game of the season 49-0 and officially started their march towards the playoffs with the win.

While things are near perfect for Cam Rising and his teammates, one potential future Ute appears to be having a rather painful start of his season. And unfortunately, it seems there is at least a small chance that Jerome Myles’ season is over before it really got rolling.

That’s because Myles left the latest Corner Canyon game early on. Not only did that cause a bit of chaos for his squad, but he was later seen on crutches on the sideline. That sort of development is definitely one several college fans are less than thrilled about.

While there are still plenty of schools coming after Myles, the Utah football team was really starting to look like the frontrunner in the race for his services.

Utah Football top prospect suffers injury in latest game

While there hasn’t been any sort of confirmation as to what exactly is the issue, it’s known that Myles suffered some kind of knee injury. It was clear he was done for the day after he came out of the game.

There could and should be some hope that his return to the sidelines on crutches might mean that he was told while he wasn’t returning to this game, the injury wasn’t too severe.

At this point, it’s a matter of time while Utah football fans wait to see how bad Jerome Myles is hurt.
