Well we know who is in the NCAA Tournament right now.
And here are some quick thoughts.
1. Utah fans should be furious about our OOC schedule. We didn’t even need a great one just an average one likely gets us dancing. That schedule was indefensible. In fact, I said all the way back in September that this schedule eliminates any chance at an NCAA bid. Not to mention why did they even think it was necessary? Fans would have tolerated losses to decent teams. Not to mention maybe we don’t spend a season crapping the bed in late game situations if we’d seen a few tough games before the Pac-12 game around. Just a shame.
2. BYU is about where they should be if you don’t consider KC injury. Maybe it’s a little high. Certainly no Cougar fan should complain.
3. My mistress hoops team, Gonzaga drew a brutal matchup, Oklahoma St. and if they win, Arizona. Ouch.
I’ll be back with some previews, especially after Utah knows their NIT opponent and bracket.
