Here at Hoyo’s Revenge, for the rest of the season we’ll have a deeper preview of each game the day before kickoff (Friday for Saturday games, Wednesday for the Thursday game). Here’s a very brief look ahead at the next 3 games.

Utah @ UCLA: October 22nd, 2 PM

The Utes are going into the Rose bowl looking to continue on their two game conference winning streak.
At the time this is getting written, QB Josh Rosen status is unclear for Saturday which clouds up how this game will unfold.

This is a matchup of two of the top defenses in the Pac-12, and with a potential backup QB for UCLA don’t expect too many points in this one.

Washington @ Utah: October 29th, 1:30 PM

The matchup we’re all excited about. The 5th ranked Huskies come into Rice-Eccles looking to make a statement against this tough Utah team.

QB Jake Browning is a legitimate Heisman contender right now, and this Utah secondary will need to play its best game of the year to slow down the top scoring offense in the Pac-12.

Utah @ Arizona State: November 10th, 7:30 PM

This game matters in the race for the Pac-12 South. A lot of the attention is being paid to Colorado and Utah, as those two teams sit at the top currently.

Arizona State is a decent offensive team who has the firepower to stay in any game. This game could ALSO go a long way in determining how the Pac-12 South will play out.
