Utah Utes Football has returned for what will be a very important spring.

For lack of a better analogy, it seems the natives are going restless with the performance of Utah Football and more than a few have started to discuss the firing of Kyle Whittingham.

Now I’ve mentioned repeatedly how dumb of an idea I think this would be.  So we won’t discuss it right now.

Right now I’m interested in seeing a few things…

  1. How will Dave Christensen’s offense differ from what we’ve been doing?  I get the general concept of what he wants to do, but it will be great to see it in action.
  2. Here is hoping the QB situation gets fleshed out even further.  My hope is that Manning and Cox make it so that Adam Schulz won’t have to be apart of the plans.  I like Adam but my hope is we finally have better options.  Adam Schulz at Weber St. just might be fantastic for both.
  3. New and wonderful uses are found for Brian Blechen.  Yeah I know he’s got some redeeming to do, but he also knows how to create turnovers and is a unique weapon to have if used right.
  4. How the Offensive Line comes together.  For the first time in a couple of years, we have a high number of total starts coming back on the O-Line.  If you don’t know total starts by your O-line is a great predictor of success.  Our number is in the 40-50’s now and we’ll get them all back next year.

So Let’s Do This…
