I’ll put my answer right up front… I don’t think so.

And I think we saw the answer to why yesterday in the Washington game, and most other games this season.

The Utes play extremely well in stretches.  Then they go to hell for awhile.  You can survive it against Washington-Oregon St.-USC.  Hell you can even survive it against UCLA if you have a 17 point lead to work with.  But this Arizona team defends far too well.  We’ll never have 17 points to work with against the Wildcats, so you do the math.

Not that it wouldn’t be really cool.

But this Utah team is who they are now, any hump to get over will have to be gotten over next season.

Should Utah pull this out, I’ll be back to celebrate, and I’ll be on twitter to dance with y’all.  And should it go how I expect, well I’ll be here to wrap it up and start talking about the NIT.

So GO UTES, make me wrong.
