One more weekend of Pac-12 hoops has passed.  And here are the updated HoyoScale Standings…

If you don’t know, the HoyoScale gives you +1 for a road win and -1 for a home loss.

  1. Arizona              +3
  2. UCLA                 +2
  3. Cal                      +1
  4. Arizona St.        +1
  5. Washington      +1
  6. Stanford            +1
  7. Colorado             0
  8. Oregon St.           0
  9. Oregon               -1
  10. Utah                    -1
  11. Washington St. -3
  12. USC                    -4

Since we’re past the half way point, one thing that looks clear is that road wins are going to come either in the first game or the week that you play your travel partner.  That shows how big Utah’s game Thursday is against USC.  It’s a first game of a road trip against the team who has been most willing to give up wins on their home court.

It also shows if that win doesn’t come Thursday, it likely isn’t coming at all.  The remaining teams they face on the road are +1 and +2.  Further it shows that the Arizona St. game is really dangerous for Utah as well.  ASU comes in on a Wednesday.  They’ve been able to break through on the road.  It would be a shame if Utah gets caught at home while desperately hoping for a road break through.
