Utah Football: The Travis Wilson Mystery…

So after the Utah loss yesterday, I took some time away from Twitter to talk to my family. I know, I know, what was I thinking.
It seems while I was off being selfish, Coach Whittingham made these post game comments.
Cryptic sure. It also doesn’t sound good.
If it is a concussion, those can be very tricky things. You can feel far worse days later. The headaches can be horrible and things like memory loss and clouded thought processes can be down right scary. So if Travis is starting to go through all of this, well my heart goes out to him.
Further the kid has been a warrior this year but he’s also taken a beating and maybe combined with the concussion it’s just been A LOT.
As it said in the post game comments, there will be a press conference about it Monday. I can’t imagine that is a good thing. They rarely hold press conferences to say a guy is healthy and ready to play.
In any event, it also means that we’re going to need to get bowl eligible with Adam Schulz at QB. Adam wasn’t horrible yesterday and Jake Murphy returning gives Utah just enough of a weapon that we might be able to do something. If we can give an effort like we did yesterday against Oregon and the O-Line can play as well, we can win up in Pullman.
But right now, lets hope all is well with Travis.
