Utah Utes Basketball: Seymour Leaving and So It Begins
The annual right of Utah Utes Basketball begins as Justin Seymour departs the program. Seymour started the season looking like one of the players who would survive. But after a suspension for missing curfew in Seattle before a game against Washington, he seemed to fall out of favor with the coaches and never returned to the lineup, which opened the door for Dakari Tucker.
This likely won’t be the last transfer this season as we’ll likely say goodbye to the two transfers who seemed oh so important just two years ago.
As for my thoughts, yeah this was expected, but Seymour seems like a player who will end up doing something. I suspect in two to three years we’ll look up and go oh yeah another former Ute doing something good for someone else.
Earlier today Tony Jones announced via twitter that Utah was having Princeton Onwas, a 6-5 JC Forward in for a look.
Now we know why.
