Utah Utes Basketball: Finally A Chance to Beat That Obama…

facebooktwitterreddit

Utah Utes basketball faces the Oregon St. Beavers and  since Utahans have twice come out strongly and voted against Barack Obama, it’s clear this game is a BIG DEAL.  Last season Oregon St. smoked us.  And since it seems Michelle Obama’s brother and Oregon St. head coach Craig Robinson is on the hot seat, this may be one of the final chances to stop the Obama agenda.

Oregon St. has lost three straight after defeating Washington.  But they’ve been close in all three games including a pair of three point losses and an eight point loss to Stanford.

The Beavers have 5 players averaging in double figures and a six averaging nearly 10 PPG.  It would seem the Beavers struggle to get stops.

Last season Jared Cunningham gave the Utes fits but perhaps with Jared sitting on the Dallas Mavericks bench, the Utes will have more luck.

When we last saw the Utes they were surviving just barely after losing a 22 point lead against Colorado.  Utah played without Jordan Loveridge.  Last word was that he was practicing but not full time.  Considering this is a truly winnable game for Utah, one would think that the Loveridge will play.  Also look for a continued growing roll for Freshman Jeremy Olsen.
