RIP Rick Majerus

I suppose as we all know by now, Rick Majerus has passed away.

Things weren’t always perfect with Rick but a LOT of great memories from the 1990s are because of that man.

My best one is the 1997 WAC Tournament.  My mom had passed away in December and things were tough for my dad and I.  Those three days in Vegas seemed to bring us back together.  My dad would pass away January 1, 1999.  I was always so thankful for the amazing memories of that tournament that let us heal enough that we had a great relationship for the remaining time we had left.

So Rick I hope you’re at peace.  Thanks for all the memories.
