Utah Utes Football: So What Do We Know

So we’ve got a few days of camp under our belt, lets see what we know.

The offense, as a lot of people guessed will look something close to what it did in 2008.  I know Andy Ludwig caught a lot of crap (94% of which was undeserved) but I liked that offense.  The attack is open enough that you can explode, but it lets you do some physical things when you need to.

Chase Hansen won’t be our QB this fall.  My hope would be that his shoulder gets cleared up and then he has lots of time to heal.

Carlos Lozano came in fat but according to many, he is fixing the situation and someone tweeted me that he actually might be getting close.

Kenneth Scott is about to be come a baller.  Between him, Dres and DeVonte, we have to love our receiving corp.

Star Lotulelei is looking like every thing we think he can be.

Brian Blechen has taken responsibility and owned his mistake.  I think we can put this in the good kids do dumb things sometimes category.  I think we’ll still see a lot out of Brian this year.

All in all, things seem to have opened up smoothly.  A couple of dings here and there but nothing major since the news of Marc Pouvave’s injury.  And according to the news Jordan Wynn’s confidence is really high.

It would seem we are where we want to be right about now.
