Pac-12 Tour: 5/8/12

Welcome to Tuesday’s edition of the Pac-12 tour.  This feature, as always is to keep you up to date on the happenings around the Pac-12 via the blogs of this Fansided.com network.  Snarky comments will be included by me as needed.

Arizona:  The Wildcats welcome Xavier hoops transfer Mark Lyons who having graduated will play immediately.  So Arizona lands not only an amazing class but gets an excellent PG to run the show.  I’m not jealous at all.

Oregon: Has some discussion of baseball or something.  You know it must be nice to have boosters who like to spend money on the program.  Oregon didn’t even have baseball till Phil Knight got mad when Oregon St. won back to back national titles.  Now they’re ranked.  Yeah, that’s fair.  And no I’m not jealous at all.

Oregon St.:  Is talking about having something called Truax open 3 hours before game time.  I don’t know what that is, but I am beginning to like the Oregon St. blogger because he seems to be developing a similar level of contempt for his own program that I have for mine from time to time.

UCLA: A story of yet one more top ranked hoops player wanting to go there.  Thank God for football and Kyle Whittingham or I’d just have to fight the UCLA blogger.

USC: A piece on whether Robert Woods and Marquise Lee are the best WR tandem in USC.  Insert OJ Simpson joke here.

Washington: I-D-A-H-O IDAHO IDAHO GO GO GO.  A story on whether Idaho could survive as an Independent.   Through the power of Robb Akey, all things are possible.   Also a story on UW hoops recruit Stephen Domingo.

Washington St.: I posted a link to all of six of the Pac-12 previews these kids have done so far.   Here is that link again.
