Utah Utes Football: Scrimmage Notes…

I want to say thanks to everyone who sent or tweeted me some scrimmage thought from yesterday.  Here are some things that we can say now.

– The offense has a crap ton of weapons.  Great way to break in a first time offensive coordinator.

– The surprises of the Spring have to be the development of Harvey Langi and Jerrell Oliver at the RB spot.  Both are looking very good, so good in fact you wonder if we don’t want to find a way to redshirt someone in this group in order to not waste a year.

– DVC appears faster, Dres is still very good and if you can get a ball even close to Jake Murphy he’s going to catch it.

– Wynn didn’t have a great day but he was going against the #1 defense.  Not really worried.

– Travis Wilson aka Bodhi looked very good both throwing and running with the ball.  This kid will be a star before his time is done at Utah.

– The defense is well the defense and will again be the shining stars.

– And we wouldn’t be Utah if we didn’t have concerns about the kicking game.
