What if the Washington General played themselves…

I could write a preview of tonight’s ASU-Utah hoops match-up, but seriously why would I?  This is going to be some bad basketball.  Utah crushed ASU earlier this year, which just makes me sad for ASU.  But Utah is beyond awful on the road, see the USC game for an example of that.  And Trent Lockett is back for ASU, meaning Sun Devils, you have no excuses.  If ASU loses to Utah tonight, Herb Sendek shouldn’t be allowed to even go back to the locker room.  He should just exit the arena, never to be heard from again.

I’ve joked that Saturday afternoon in Tucson is going to be like the Harlem Globetrotters versus the Washington Generals.  I think Arizona is planning to do skits during the game. When Kyle Fogg throws that bucket of confetti at Larry, I’m going to laugh and laugh and laugh.

But tonight in Tempe, it’s going to be like watching a Washington Generals scrimmage.  I saw somewhere this game is going to be streamed on the Fox Sports Arizona website.  If that is really true, there could be upwards of 10 people watching.  And I’ll be one, laughing so I don’t cry.
