The Pac-12 Season in Review

Its a bit of a shame that the Pac-12 season will end on quite a low-light with the UCLA-Oregon title game after what was a pretty exciting and remarkable season.  Some things we saw.

-Utah went toe to toe with USC in the Coliseum.

-Utah then lost its QB and was blown out three times

-Utah then figured out a way to get to the Pac-12 South title game using something similar to what Denver does with Tebow, only with a vastly less talented Tebow.

-Utah was going to the Pac-12 title game, right until it choked on a chicken bone vs Colorado.

-Andrew Luck goes 11-1 at Stanford and would be a shoe in for the Heisman if Stanford was in the SEC

-Oregon demonstrates that they are hard to prep for week to week, but if you have a month, the Chip Kelly gimmick is just that.

-USC has a lot of talent but why do people act like the loss of scholarships is affecting this class when it really isn’t.

-Remember when Jeff Tedford and Mike Riley were good coaches?

-Paul Wulff nearly got himself another year, but he Couged it.

-If I had the ability to do so I would photo-shop a Mortal Kombat image of Lane Kiffin standing over a dead Rick Neuheisel holding his spine.

-I wonder what was worse, Neuheisel or the utter choke job that Arizona St. committed down the stretch?

-I also wonder how drunk Dennis Erickson is right now?

-I know Rich Rod will probably either end in disaster or flee Tucson and the first chance he gets at a bigger program, but damn that guy knows how to win a press conference.

-I can’t wait to see who Arizona St. and UCLA hire.  My guess is that UCLA can be something but Arizona St., will COUG IT

-Arizona St. Coug’s it so often, maybe it should be called Sun Devil’ed it.

-Despite a couple of real lows, the Pac-12 is vastly more fun than the MWC.
