Thought it was worthwhile to do a little football catch up here as a few things have happened.

First, Utah has a tough schedule next year, but now we know how tough.  FB Schedules has the Utes listed as having the 11th toughest schedule using win percentages from 2013.  Another article from Bleacher Report has the Utes as high as 4th.  So it’s very clear that the Utes have one of the best schedules in the nation.  I guess when we got our Pac-12 wish, this is what we were signing up for.

Next, some Harvey Langi news.  When he returns from his mission, Harvey will be moving to Defensive End.  According to reports, Harvey not only knows about the moved but did ask for it.  Originally he chose Utah over USC because he didn’t want to play defense.  But maturity probably helped him see that he could have a real future, one where he gets paid, at defensive end/outside linebacker.

Finally, if you’re on the twitter, it’s a good idea to give the Ute coaches a follow.  If the U would put their coaches twitter handles in an easily linkable place, I’d link them.  Instead, the best I can do is to tell you to follow @Utah_Football.  They’re you’ll get to see the tireless recruiting coaches like Morgan Scalley (@safetypride) and Jim Harding (@coachjharding) are out doing.  Scalley went to 10 Houston area high schools yesterday.

And that is your Utah Football update.
