I’ll post the preview of the Utah-Cal game later today, but there are a couple of other games tonight in the Pac-12.

Arizona at Oregon St.- This is a game that doesn’t affect Utah much.  Oregon St. is one of the few teams that Utah holds a clear tie breaker over, meaning OSU would have to sweep the weekend and Utah would have to lose twice for the Beavers to move ahead of the Utes.  Besides, after all Arizona has been through, I don’t really see them losing at Oregon St.

Colorado at Stanford- Both these teams are in an interesting position, likely in the tourney (Lunardi has them both as 10 seeds).  Neither have to feel totally awesome about their position however.  A Colorado road win would send a message but the Buffs didn’t look good at Utah and have lost three of five (admittedly the other losses besides Utah were to UCLA and Arizona).  My money would be on Stanford tonight

And last night, Oregon looked like the team from early in the year for much of the game and took apart Arizona St.  Arizona St. has now dropped three of five (all losses on the road) since their big win over Arizona.  For a moment it looked like ASU would break out but now they’ve fallen in with the Pac.

I’ll be back later with pre and post game on the Utes and tomorrow we’ll discuss where those results leave the Utes.
