GAMEDAY BABY!!!

This is certainly a very big and interesting matchup for the Utes. 5-3 would be a light year better than 4-4.  5-3 essentially locks up a bowl game and keeps the very solid dream of an 8 win season alive.

5-3 would be FAN FREAKIN’ TASTIC…

4-4 would be kind of scary.  If we’re 4-4, suddenly the margin for error is gone.  4-4 makes the game in the Palouse a must win.  And while I feel confident about that game, at some point the Air Raid is going to get someone and I’d hate for it to be us.  4-4 means putting my dream of kicking Arizona State’s ass on hold for at least one more season.

As everyone knows this week that both sides are beaten up on the offensive side of the ball.  To hear USC tell it, they may not even play offense today, just kneel down with their 11 Walk-ons and then punt.

For Utah’s side of the ball, the Travis Wilson finger saga continues.  There was a rumor early in the week that he might be gone for the year.  Then the rumor was that he was expected to play.  Next, it was likely he’d even be 100 percent.  Now it’s a game time decision.  And that last one has me a little bit scared because we don’t win this game without a healthy Wilson.

Despite all crazies who believe Schulz is just as good a QB.

So it will be an interesting one today. I’ll be back with some post game analysis, and hopefully a victory celebration.
