This Week in Genius Coaching, by Larry Krystkowiak…

Now I was only able to watch the game last night via Yahoo Sports Box Score, so if some of this is inaccurate, forgive me.  It is what I was told happened surrounding the events in question.

Larry on three occasions last night, took time outs with the media time out just seconds away.

One of those occasions was to yell at Kareem Storey.

But the highlight of the evening.  Larry calls another time out just short of the media time out.  He spends the entire time out yelling at the officials, never speaking to his team.  The team walks out of the media time out.  And promptly gets a 5 second violation.

Now this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this.  During the Arizona game during one of the big Arizona runs, Larry called a time out just short of the media time out, spent half of it screaming at the officials, the other half telling his team they were playing like shit.  The Utes took the floor and the run continued.

I’m certain with this post I’ll receive another lecture on how it was really genius I was seeing.  That doing this was necessary to change the culture and that I’m not a Ute fan for questioning Larry.

But I don’t get it.  And it’s becoming too much of a pattern not to mention.

So if you have an explanation, please tell me, because this has to be a concern right?
